Born under the sign of the Swift?

Buoyant is what swifts do best.
If you’re tired of being an Aries (the Ram) or Virgo (the Virgin) or the Dragon (in the Chinese zodiac, one born in a year like 1988 , 2000, 2012, or 2024) —or just plain tired of whatever your horoscope has been telling you, you might be able to invent your own sign of the zodiac and make that stick. If so, a good one that still seems to be available is the swift.
Swifts are a family of birds with remarkable buoyancy.
I call it that, but what it amounts to scientifically is that they spend most of their lives in the air; eating, resting, or mating, they remain in flight. Swifts can fly nonstop for over 6 months, according to Maja Salstrom’s Illustrated Compendium of Amazing Animal Facts.
If you’re one of those people who is at rest in motion, who doesn’t want to stop at the end of the day, it might just be that you were born under this sign.
At least you could claim to be.
And who could argue?
