Great escapes: If Machu Picchu isn’t a weekend option
Great escapes: If Machu Picchu isn’t a weekend option

It seems to be true: you never outgrow your need for escapes. That’s what stories are for. Now of course if you can hire a yacht, fly to Greece, or visit Machu Picchu this weekend, those would be OK too. If not, stories make great escapes— inexpensive and always convenient.
Reminder: The Emperor’s Golden Carp and Other Stories has released, and if you want a bonus story just let me know that you’ve obtained the book by tomorrow midnight (Friday April 29th, and 11:59 would be a dramatic last moment).
I’ll email the bonus story to you as an e-document file (Word) that you can print or just read electronically. If you have somehow received this email and you’re not on my mailing list, be sure to make it clear what email address I should use and give me your permission to add you to the list.
Unless life changes radically, a little getaway here and there will always be welcome for most of us. Let’s all have another week of fighting the good fight, whatever our challenges are, with some great escapes as mini-vacations between battles.
